LUXE Heavenly Bodies

Luxe Heavenly Bodies

Julie Berry launched her line of organic, natural bath products after retiring from a 25-year career training horses in the art of dressage.  “I spent so much time in the sun,” she says of her previous career.  “I always took good care of my skin.  But at the end of a day spent outdoors with horses, I always loved coming home to take a bath.  The skin is the largest organ in the body.  It’s so important to take good care of it.”

Luxe Clay Facial MaskThus, the inspiration for Luxe Heavenly Bodies.  Her products include soaps, bath salts, clay facial masks, sugar and salt scrubs, lotions and facial washes.  They’re all natural, all organic with just a tiny amount of preservative added.  The products range from $5 to $40.

She makes them all in a commercial kitchen built just for her (by her husband) in Cypress.  She sells her products wholesale, as well as at retail gift shows, trade shows and a farmers market in The Woodlands.  But each Thursday finds her at the Westchase District Farmers Market.

“It’s fun to meet people and talk with them.  It’s particularly fun when they come back for more of your product and tell you how they’re using it.”
